Analysis
DK Shivakumar is undergoing the retrograde but Lord house 10th house Saturn mahadasha till 2034. He will do very well professionally and/or politically. However, there is lot of damage to his health due to professional stress.
Jupiter debilitated in the same 10th house means there are legal cases and severe legal trouble waiting in the wings; so Shivakumar is in for some rough weather. Moreover, his time till 2025-end is tough; he will be very busy addressing legal concerns. He has a lot of enemies who are out to how mar his interests. There is a lot of money in his chart, but there is a lot of trouble as well in the form of powerful enemies.
He is known to be a very spiritual person and believes a lot in prayers. Hence, if he is not doing so already, he has to do the remedies.

Analysis
Shri Siddaramaiah has an excellent chart — not only is he a very positive person but he is also a top-notch administrator and the favorite to occupy the Karnataka chief minister’s chair.
The other primary contender for the position, Shri Shivakumar has many obstacles in his chart. So, even though is fighting very hard for the post but as per astrology, Siddaramaiah is the natural choice. He will be a very strong and powerful chief minister, and in all possibility, he will be chosen by his party.
However, due to some planets in Shivakumar’s chart, he is not letting go. I think he should be given good spiritual advice. He can let Siddaramaiah be the chief minister for 2 years and then, when his time is much better, he can also become the chief minister with the remedies.
It needs to be noted that Siddaramaiah’s chart is very clean except for normal stresses. He is a simple man. But Shivakumar’s chart has certain challenging placements and it will be very tough for him to become the chief minister as of now.
Update (8/8/25)-
There is no doubt in my mind that Shri DK Shivkumar is going through a very stressful time; though his Shani or Saturn is rewarding him, with he deputy CM post but it has come with lot of efforts; believe me the amount of efforts or the amount of hard work that he does for the Congress Party Pan India/ Pan Karnataka is no match to any other congressperson. But that will and has take a toll on his health because of his Shani; who is no ones friend even when well placed. Now he is born in 1961 and is 64 years old his Shani Mahadasha will end in 2034 in 11 more years or when he is 75 years old. At that age the wear and tear and the battering of Shami does impact one’s health. So he has to take extreme care of his health. I know he is a deep believer in astrology, mantra and tantra. He must be doing the remedies.
Whereas the chart of Shri Siddaramaiah shows that he is he is born with a high degree of luck; he is very lucky person. Cosmic blessings are on him since birth. Yes, he has worked hard but right now he is just on a roll. He is going through his 3rd house Ketu Mahadasha till 2028 and when it ends he will be 81 years old. This is proof of a good chart that the person is agile and active and doing a highly stressful job at this age. He is blessed. But again due to his excellent 9th, 10th and 11th houses; it could be very much possible that would he would remain the Chief Minister of Karnataka for the full term and then after that in his next Venus Mahadasha after 2028; because Venus is in the 11th house; he is more likely to get a central role.
Shri DK Shivkumar; who the party will keep in Karnataka either close to 2027 or 2027; he will become the senior most person congressperson in Karnataka but he has to take care of his health.
