Thank you for providing me the birth details of one of the most eventful stars of the Hindi film industry and not only Hindi Indian film industry, Indian film industry Shri Sanjay Dutt. I have been following him since his first release “Rocky” in 1981 when I was 13–14 years old and I remember it was a super hit and that time everybody used to go to the theatre and watch movies. I was in Kolkata and there was lot of sympathy for him those days because his mother, well known start Smt. Nargis Dutt had just died after she came back from treatment of brain cancer from the US. She could not be there to see her sons first movie “Rocky” and I remember there was a newspaper article that they kept an empty chair for the mother in the premier screening of “Rocky” in Mumbai. It was a very emotional moment and after his mother’s loss as he was very close to his mother; even though his father was stood up for him all through; but Sanjay Dutt being a mama’s boy, his life took her downturn with drugs and all sorts of trouble, legal trouble, infact severe legal trouble; he was involved in severe anti national activities and spent 7 to 10 years in jail.
Then multiple marriages; multiple affairs have always been his highlight. His first wife also died from brain cancer just after marriage, a lady known as “Richa Sharma”. All in all Sanjay Dutt has been a survivor through all his sufferings and is right now leading a relatively stable and mature life given his age of 65 years in Dubai with his third wife and two young children. He has a grown up daughter “Trishala Dutt” from his first wife who lives in US. Recently he was diagnosed with lung cancer also; though it is said that it has been cured but he has to be careful.
